Website Update: Viejo

Artist, with Portrait

I am in a moment of relative down time and realize my website is in dire need of updating! I have not yet made it through all of the beautiful dance and theater photos from my last five months of costume design work, but I have finally added my new photos of Viejo, an art project I began as a resident of the Textile Arts Center. Coming soon will also be a new page dedicated to essays I have been writing on dance and art and life and everything in between.

All photos are by Steven Schreiber.

Viejo

This portrait of my grandfather was made with fabric buttons made from his wardrobe.

Project statement can be read here.

I absolutely love it! And I think I like the back as much as the front…
