“Ballet is so hot right now”

Kate Ward’s article for Entertainment Weekly ascertains Ballet as a hip, pop cultural trend. This is an interesting contrast to Jennifer Homans’ new book, Apollo’s Angels, which claims the death of Ballet (aforementioned on our blog).

Ward compares Ballet to the trendy vampire phenomenon. Meanwhile, I am experiencing the “dark” aspects of the art with yet another injury and unceasing hours in PT (more to come on this later).
