My first Thanksgiving in NYC and my sister’s first visit to the city. . .we braved the crowds of the Macy’s Parade. The two of us have been watching the parade since we were teeny tiny. This morning, we got live the experience in real time. I was as excited as all of the little kids around me. Pretending like we knew where we were going, we sneaked in with the ticket holders and snagged a spot on 71st and Central Park West, within feet of the event.
