Today I ventured out to Forest Park in Brooklyn with photographer Haley Jane Samuelson to continue a project I’ve been helping her out with. The Zipcar thermometer read 18°F when we emerged from civilization into the wild. After purposefully getting myself caught in thorny branches, rolling in the snow, and laying face down on a massive, snowy, fallen tree…we got the shot!

Forest Park was a refreshing diamond in the rough, but I am happily curled up in my cozy New York apartment.
