From Vail: My tiny Toyota Yaris struggled a bit with its first trek into the Rocky Mountains. But after two hours of winding rounds and some Colorado rain showers, I made it to Vail, Colo. for the Vail International Dance Festival’s International Evening of Dance II.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, it was a mixed bill featuring premier dancers from around the world of varying dance genres.
