This Wednesday, the video fairy brings an Under One dance film featuring Mei Yamanaka to Dd. 17 more videos to come in the next 17 days!

Under One: Mei Yamanaka. Wythe Ave & North 13th Street, Brooklyn, NY from Kygwen on Vimeo.

“Mei choreographed her video. I love her quality of movement, her comfort with stillness, and the unique mix of release technique, hip hop’s pop and lock style, and classical ballet (it’s in there if you’re looking for it!).”  —Kyla Ernst-Alper, producer of Under One Dances
