Check for Rebecca’s picks for the 11/17 Dd short short list.

1. Polish American Folk Dance Company

The company performs for its 75th Anniversary at NYU’s Skirball Center. One night only, Saturday 11/23 at 7pm. I’ll be there!

2. The Barnard Project

A lovely program that allows choreographers time and space to make a dance with young performers! This year’s choreographers are Boyzie Cekwana, Lance Gries, Annie B-Parson, and Donna Uchizono.

New York Live Arts, Thursday 11/21 – Saturday 11/23 at 7:30pm and 2pm on Saturday 11/23

Honorable Mention:

New Chamber Ballet

See work by director Miro Magloire and choreographer Constantine Baecher.

At New York City Center’s Studio 4, Friday 11/22 and Saturday 11/21 at 8pm. Dd loves NCB!

I was certainly impressed when I saw them last spring. Dance Enthusiast listing.
