Denver and its surrounding area is a great place for dance. From companies like Ballet Nouveau Colorado, to Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble, to the Colorado Ballet, among others, there are lots of opportunities to see and experience the art form. At {Dd}, we like to acknowledge the movers and shakers, those who think outside the box…or should we say “outside the bun?”

That’s exactly what Colorado Ballet dancer Sean Omandam is doing. I don’t know him personally, but I was indirectly exposed to a fun side project/blog he has called Dancing Outside the Bun. In the spirit of the company’s current run of Sleeping Beauty and Korean pop sensation PSY’s “Gangnam Style,” Omandam and his fellow Colorado Ballet dancers put together a brilliant parody, “Puss in Boots Style.” This little ditty is well worth three minutes of your time. Enjoy!
