Very inspiring words. (though I wish his negotiating skilles were as strong as his oratory skills!)
I love that he addressed equality in pay–it is still an issue and bad economic times make it worse (especially with how hateful the right wing rhetoric has been against women this past spring). But economic issues really are equality issues too and as smart women, we have to remember that connection as the gap between rich and poor becomes a chasm. What can we continue to do to work towards change on that front? is something I want to remember and take with me after watching this.
I look forward to the day when the POTUS’s advice is taken “to take a seat at the head of the table” and the first woman president is able to give a commencement speech to future Barnard grads……
